Mentally, I needed it. Especially when 2am Sunday morning rolled around and I had to take my dog to the emergency vet. Stress? Nothing some (bad) chili cheese fries from the 24 hour diner couldn’t cure!
Do I regret taking the time off? Not even a little bit. Did it set me back? Well, it depends on how you look at it. The break gave me a chance to reset and relax. I didn’t completely throw caution to the wind and eat everything under the sun. But I did gain some pounds back. But I am perfectly okay with that. Gaining a few pounds and returning with a mindset that’s fresh and ready to go is far better than trying to keep up the pace and ultimately quitting altogether. And let me tell you – I was heading in that direction.
So let’s get this over with.

Current Weight: 222.6
And a fair amount of that is likely not fat. Next week, I’ll at least be back to that 219.7.
