But this is a good thing. It means I’m working muscles that desperately needed working.
And with Ernest standing beside me, I don’t give up quite as easily as I would on my own. He’s there pushing me to fight through the pain and he helps me when I need it. Best investment I have ever made.
That being said, the scale hasn’t budged. In fact, it’s up again this week. And what makes that even worse is that I was down yesterday – but I can’t count it because today is my official weigh in day.
Starting Weight: 233.6
Last Weigh-in: 221.4
Current Weight: 221.9
Total Lost: 11.7 pounds
One of these days, I’m going to get out of the 220s and stay out.
But I do have proof that all of this new hard work is doing something in my body. I didn’t lose pounds, but I lost inches!
As always, my measurements show overall change rather than the difference from week to week.
Neck: -.75 (no change)
Total: -17.25 inches
That’s a total of 2 inches down in a week. Everything had a change except for my neck. That’s probably the best week I’ve ever had, as far as inches go.
And I’ll take it. It proves that something is working. My body is changing. And eventually, the scale will catch up.
