For the past two weeks, I’ve been working SO HARD that it just seems insane that I’m not seeing meaningful results. It’s discouraging. And in some ways, it makes me feel like it’s not worth it.
I know it is – that’s just my laziness talking. But when will my body catch up with the hard work? Why are people constantly telling me that they can see a change when the numbers don’t lie?
Starting Weight: 233.6
Last Weigh-in: 221.9
Current Weight: 220.9
Total Lost: 12.7 pounds
The good news here is that the scale did move down this week. And considering the last three weigh ins were up – this is actually progress. It’s just very slow progress.
As always, my total measurements show overall change rather than the difference from week to week.
Neck: -.75 (no change)
Waist: -1 (up .75 from last week)
Hips: -3.25 (no change)
Arms: -1.75 (no change)
Chest: -2.25 (up .25 from last week)
Total: -17.25 inches (same as last week, just shuffled around a bit)
My muscles are getting stronger. I feel it. I see it. But the fat seriously needs to take a hike. Hopefully it does – soon.
