Well it’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted my progress. I got back on track this week with going to the gym (as I type this, my legs are screaming at me thanks to the leg workout they got on Friday – but it hurts so good). I’m still struggling with my diet a bit, but eventually it will all come together for me.
My back is finally starting to feel better. I’ve been doing a lot of stretches and movements to help my back, and it’s working. For the last two days I’ve had far less pain than I have in the past few weeks. It’s not zero pain, but it’s pain I can live with and still function with.

Total Lost: 13.6 pounds
It seems that I can’t stay under 220. But I will some day! It’s impossible for me to keep working at it and not see major progress. It just takes time.
The good news is that while the scale isn’t moving, my body is changing. People are noticing it more and more. I am getting stronger. I see muscle definition in places I’ve never had it before (hello tiny bicep muscles). So while things aren’t changing exactly the way I want them to, things are changing. And mentally I am in a fantastic place. I feel good about myself. I’ve even gone to the pool in a bathing suit – something I haven’t done in years because of how I felt about myself.
Life is good.
As always, my total measurements show overall change rather than the difference from week to week.
Neck: -1 (no change)
Thighs: -7.5 (up .5 from the last measurement)
Total: -21 inches
