I am SO frustrated right now! I’m pretty sure it’s water weight, because my diet hasn’t been that bad. It hasn’t been great, but it hasn’t been all fast food all sugar all the time.

I’m even doing 2 workouts a day some days! But to be fair… life happens. It’s been two weeks since my last check in here. The first week, I injured my neck doing hack squats with poor form. That kept me out of the gym. This week, I’ve had only 4 workouts so far – one cardio and three lifting. It’s not enough, and I know that. But my body is working so hard to get rid of this fat, and it’s not going anywhere.
Well… it is. Just not according to the scale. I am still losing inches.
As always, my total measurements show overall change rather than the difference from week to week.
Neck: -1 (no change)
Hips: -4.25 (up from -4.25)
Chest: -2.5 (no change)
Calves: -1.25 (no change)
Total: -24.5 inches
I lost a total of 3.5 inches in June.
I bought a dress from Kohl’s in an XL last weekend. It fits. It’s not pretty, but I can get it on. My goal is to be able to wear it on the cruise in September.
I feel really good about my workouts. I think I just really need to work on my diet. They say that fitness is 30% working out and 70% diet. So I know what I need to work on.
