This week I’ve hit a bit of a wall. But you know what? I’m okay with that. I know exactly what’s going on with my body and why my body is responding the way that it is.
On Monday, my line looked like this:
Today, it looks like this:
One is clearly better than the other. And I don’t expect much improvement next week. But that’s okay. I have the data I need to understand what’s happening and I’m not letting it discourage me.
I got back into the gym this week – yesterday, in fact. I admit, I didn’t get up this morning though. But I get off work at noon today, so I’ll be in there this afternoon.
Starting Weight: 233.6
Last Weigh-in: 218.1
Current Weight: 218.5
Neck: -1.25 (no change)
Hips: -4.25 (no change)
Thighs: -9.75 (no change)
Chest: -3.75 (no change)

A non-scale victory (NSV) this week is that when I was at the gym yesterday, I could absolutely see (for the first time) that my body looks different. When I started, I hated seeing myself in the mirror. I felt like a bloated ball of fat awkwardly trying to lift. I’m still awkward sometimes – but I can see the positive changes that have happened in my body over the last four months.
